Learn how to sync your files automatically with Google Drive for Desktop and build systems that actually stick.
It's your weekly dose of clarity and insight on all things tech & business from Dream in Digital! Each week, I'm here to share my thoughts to help you make the most of today's technology and build a business that genuinely supports the life you want to live.
This Week’s Core Focus:
Building the Foundation & The Power of Showing Up
What We’re Up To:
Personal:
It's weird how even though I've still been putting in the work, the momentum doesn't seem to be as powerful as it once was. I've still been doing a lot of good things this past week, but I guess now I'm getting into the part of the journey where discipline is key. It'll be even more important now that I build the right systems and just “stick to it” moving forward if I want to be successful.
Business:
Things have been getting real as we've had all of our paperwork accepted by the state and are now officially a registered business! We've also been keeping a closer eye on the newsletters from others we enjoy following and reading, so we may be trying out a few changes as we work to make this newsletter even more valuable for you!
Tech Tip of the Week:
Automatically Sync Files to the Cloud with Google Drive for Desktop

The Problem:
It can be a struggle to keep files backed up and organized across multiple devices, and the more time you spend on all of this “admin work,” the less time you are spending on things that move your business forward.
The Solution:
Download the Google Drive for Desktop app on your computer to effortlessly sync all of the Desktop files that you want to your Google Drive, and all of the Google Drive files that you want to your Desktop! After you download the app, make sure to select the “Mirror files” setting to set up this 2-way sync.
How This Helps:
Having your entire digital workspace backed up, up-to-date, and available everywhere you go, is a huge time-saver! Plus, never having to fumble with different versions of files, and being able to access all of your files from any device are both big time productivity hacks!
