What We’re Up To:
Personal: I've been slowly building up to the launch of Dream in Digital for almost 2 years now, so to finally announce it to the world last Friday was really exciting, but also scary - to put it bluntly. It's funny how much pent up energy and anxiety can go into a single moment, and then as soon as I hit send I was like, "okay, now I actually have to get to work!" Note to self: It's easy to fall into "paralysis by analysis" at times, so make sure that you're also pushing things forward with action, even if it feels a bit messy at first...
Business: Check out the launch of our website for Dream in Digital! It's been in the making for a while, so we're really excited to finally share it with the world! This will be the first of many more websites we build for clients and ourselves, so here's to one down, and many, many more to go!
Tech Tip of the Week:
AI is Here to Stay, so Let's Make This Tool Work For Us...
The Problem: I've been using AI platforms like Open AI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini for a few years now, and while there's always so much to learn, the constant "AI this, AI that" chatter can be annoying. The real frustration often comes from people making it sound like a magic black box, instead of a tool anyone can use.
That's the opposite of how we should share tech, so here’s what I've learned to truly make these platforms work for you.
The Solution: Think of ChatGPT & Gemini as the "office" for your "assistants." GPTs (in ChatGPT) or Gems (in Gemini) are your personalized assistants who are subject matter experts that you train for specific jobs and/or within certain areas of knowledge. Chats are the written accounts of your conversations with your subject matter experts - your GPTs and/or Gems.
How This Helps: There are always so many things to do, and many times we're figuring things out as we go. What if instead, you were able to have expert support helping you along the way in multiple areas of expertise. This could free up more of your time for strategic thinking, fulfilling client work, and enjoying your life.
P.S. It's important to emphasize that AI is just a tool. Just like any tool, it's only as good as you are using it.
