Why "Less is More" Wins the Tech Race
March 24, 2026
Learn how to simplify your business systems for maximum impact.
It's your weekly dose of clarity and insight on all things tech & business from Dream in Digital! Each week, I'm here to share my thoughts to help you make the most of today's technology and build a business that genuinely supports the life you want to live.
This Week’s Core Focus:
The Power of Essentialist Tech
It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that a new app or platform will solve a fundamental business problem. We add layer after layer of software until our "productivity stack" actually becomes a source of friction. True scale doesn't come from more tools; it comes from better systems.
To build a business that feels light and focused, you must be ruthless with your digital environment. Stick to what you know and use every feature of the tools you already have before looking for the "next big thing."
Audit Your Stack: List every subscription you currently pay for and identify one that you haven’t used in the last 30 days. Cancel it today.
Master One Domain: Instead of jumping between multiple project management tools, pick one (like Monday.com or ClickUp) and commit to spending one hour this week using it to organize your highest priority project. This will save you many hours of “checking-in” later on.
Start Small, Scale Later: When testing new software, always start on the lowest possible tier or free trial. Only upgrade when the current tier's limitations are actively costing you more in time than the upgrade costs in dollars.
Tech Tip of the Week:
The "Inbox Zero" Alternative
The Problem: High-frequency, short-form questions are clogging your email, making it impossible to find deep-work time.
The Solution: Move all internal team communications and quick updates to a dedicated chat app like Slack or Google Chat.
How This Helps: This separates "urgent" chatter from "important" documentation, freeing your inbox for high-value client work and deep strategy.
